On Saturday I went to Nottingham Climbing Centre to help out at the YCS. I started by leading the group warm up with Pippa. Once everyone was warm the groups began to climb and I started demoing a few lead routes for groups B+C. After that it was over to the bouldering wall where I flashed all of Group A’s climbs, including a tricky red crimpy one that needed a precise heel hook that would last you for 5 hand moves without moving it! I think I demoed all the groups’ bouldering climbs at least once and managed to do Group A’s hardest lead climb as well which quite tricky and I’m glad I didn’t drop it. It was cool to see old friends again and to meet new ones. Looking forward to the next round at The Foundry, Sheffield.
