On Sunday me and my Dad drove up to Higgar Tor for some bouldering on a ‘non-rainy’ day. After parking the car, grabbing the pads and bags, we started heading for the rocks. But a family of walkers had their car stuck in the mud and we went to help them push it out! Eventually, with 8 people pushing the car out of the muddy trench it was free and I was free to go climbing! The rocks were a little wet, the ground very but I persevered to find a dry rock! I met some boulderers from Sheffield and had a climb with them on The Harvester, 6b, and Harvester Arête, 5c. Overall, a good day out. Here’s a short video of some climbs at Higgar East and a few photos from my new favourite place, Burbage Bridge!
